Customer Reviews

  • Andrew provided a detail account of a Clock Tower at a development that requires external repairs and redecoration. The drone footage was extremely professional and assisted in providing information to contractors in obtaining quotes. I would definitely use him again.

  • Viewpoint recently carried out a drone survey of the roof of my house. Detailed high resolution images and crisp video data were taken. The (drone) work was carried out promptly, in accordance with legal and health & safety requirements. Well done to Viewpoint and to Andy their very competent drone pilot.

  • Good company to deal with from start to finish. Andy was very understanding of my needs. Arrived on site punctually with a plan of my requirements and undertook the roof survey. High quality pictures received within 48 hours fully meeting my requirements. Would highly recommend both for quality and cost.

  • We needed a drone to inspect our roof when we moved in to help us decide for ourselves what needed doing. Close ups were enough to allow us to make the best decision before we were bamboozled by roofers saying we needed this and that. 100% recommend.

  • I would highly recommend Andy. We used his services to have a drone survey on our roof. This was a huge help in getting a roofer to sort out the remedial work required.

  • We used Viewpoint APV to create aerial videos of the two churches in our parish, as well as a fly through tour of our churchyard. The resulting footage was excellent, both technically and creatively. We couldn't have asked for more, plus the service was efficient, professional and competitively priced.

  • Fantastic quality and a really good representation of our Nursery. Thank you Andy for producing such great images for us.

Why a drone roof survey?

Traditional building inspection methods such as scaffolding are expensive and time consuming to organise, but as a CAA Approved Drone Company, we can organise your survey quickly and for a fraction of the price of traditional building inspection methods. In addition to cost and time benefits, aerial building inspections using drones are significantly safer to carry out with pre-flight site surveys and risk assessments forming part of every inspection to ensure optimum safety for clients and any potential uninvolved people. In addition to roof inspections, drone surveys have the same benefits when inspecting guttering, wind turbines, bridges, commercial roofs, power lines, solar panels and wind farms to name a few.

It’s important to note that we are not roofers, or builders, and we can’t provide a quote for remediation of any issues that we may find. We leave that to the experts! We will provide them with high resolution images in order for them to safely and cost effectively evaluate any works that need to be completed.

Drone chimney inspections

Chimneys can be hard to access, and where the chimney is above 2 storeys, a considerable amount of scaffolding would be required for a traditional inspection. Drone chimney inspections in Manchester are not only safer, but they are also considerably cheaper. Drone chimney surveys can be carried out on commercial and domestic properties when looking to assess any maintenance requirements. A further benefit of using a drone for this type of inspection is that there is no damage to the surrounding fabric of the building.
